As the major healthcare provider for women in Qatar, Women’s Wellness and Research Centre (WWRC) has a leading role in the national healthcare strategy both in undertaking research and by translating the results of that research back into the clinical care pathway (bench-to-bedside and back).

A key element of WWRC’s proposed strategy is to develop an environment whereby programs of research themes across all clinical disciplines are developed to meet the specific needs of our patients by generating new evidence that can be translated into improving patient health and clinical management.

Women’s Wellness and Research Centre are committed to achieving this aim by providing staff opportunities and an open environment to develop the skills required through the integration of education and clinical and translational research.

Mission

WWRC’s research mission is to develop an academic research centre within WWRC to undertake innovative research of relevance to the women   of Qatar and their neonates and translate the results into healthcare solutions that improve the health and wellbeing of our women.
